ABOUT ME
I'm a seasoned health educator. I've worked as a patient educator, NYC high school health and sex education teacher, citywide specialist and trainer, curriculum writer, online teacher, and professional development leader. I've taught parents, run health-themed book clubs, lead goal-setting groups, launched community level research projects, and pulled myself and loved ones through disabilities and intensive health recoveries. ​

My passion is working with people, from classroom to policy, to create the kind of coaching, resources, trainings, and initiatives that will bring community and individual healing, strength and vitality.

The Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE) identifies 8 National Health Education Standards (2024, Shapeamerica.org) that describe what a student should know and be able to do as a result of a quality health education.
I rely on these categories to inform my scope of work and organize the themes around which to build skill and understanding of key health topics.
